An enormous beacon of the Harry Potter series lies in the lessons we have learned through the books. Many of us have, literally, grown up with the books, and have learned innumerable values from them.

However, I wouldn’t say that Twilight hasn’t done anything for the world. Rather, I’d say:
IT HASN’T DONE ANYTHING GOOD FOR THE WORLD.
Because Twilight has…
- glorified mindless, blind and crazy obsession
- almost excused paedophelia
- set back the feminist movement about fifty years by transforming the image of a “desirable” woman to one whose nature is to be unintelligible, submissive, dependent, needy and obsessed, therefore gaining no status or recognition in her own right
- reduced the majority of teen and pre-teen girls into mindless, bumbling, depressed messes of human beings because they “can’t find a man like Edward or Jacob”
- idealised the unrealistic notion of “love at first sight”
- encouraged acceptance of male dominance, overbearing males and the autonomy of women
There are probably more, but I think you guys get the idea!
